The contract concluded before the start of the transition program or signed during the activity Sign All Base Contacts,
is the base contract to deliver the continuous service delivery to the Client.
Depending on the type of the financial agreements per service it might be necessary to create additional contracts that
will come into force at Service Commencement. Think about contracts for projects to start, projects to take over from
the Client or incumbent. Although it is the responsibility of the work stream Work In Progress to identify and define
these opportunities, it would be the responsibility of the Finance And Contracts work stream to create the appropriate
contract(s) for these, in line with the base contract(s). Think also about additional time and material based work
which could surface during meetings with the Client in the Service Engagement Initiation work stream, during
discussions about processes in the Service Delivery Processes work stream or for taking over incidents, service and
change requests from the incumbent. These Additional Specific Contract artifacts can either be unique, especially made
for this occasion, like a contract for a project take-over would typically be, or could be based on a template to use
as the ‘standard’ for the same service request in the future.
What needs to be agreed upon and noted down in these specific contracts depends heavily on what is already described
and defined in the contract between Capgemini and the Client, like in the Service Level Agreement (SLA) and Services
Financial Agreement (SFA).
Additional Specific Contract artifacts are stored in the appropriate document repository for future use during the
continuous service delivery.
